They host all manner of events with re-enactments to festivals, and they can facilitate large group bookings.

Clanfield Observatory
Clanfield is lucky to host The Hampshire Astronomical Group’s Clanfield Observatory , which is reputed to be one of the best equipped amateur observatories in the UK. They are happy to host visits with Scout groups, and will provide a comprehensive guided tour of the Observatory and show the ‘wonders of the night sky’ through their large research-grade telescopes. There is a small fee charged – currently £5 per child, £10 per adult – with a maximum of 32 persons per visit.
We are lucky to be placed in an area with lots of lovely local parks. There are two within 5-10mins walking distance of the hut. Peel Park is on top of the hill with a large play area, skatepark, football field and small basketball court. This park is also a dog-free zone. There is also Clanfield Meadow which hosts the Clanfield Cricket Club and which also features a large play area and a large open space for games.
